Allen Evans

Mr. Allen Lane Evans, age 68, of Thomaston, passed away June 5, 2025, at his home.

Allen grew up in Griffin, son of the late Waymond Evans and the late Louise Wilson Evans. He worked for many years and retired from Concrete Supply Company where he was a truck driver. Allen was a simple man who loved hotdogs, bologna and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sammie Evans, daughter, Jennifer Evans; siblings, Darrell Evans, Jerry Evans, Jeffery Evans, Shirley Baugh, Audrey Prince, Delores Johnson and Brenda Mathis.

He is survived by his sons: Michael Evans and Gregory Evans; daughters: Stephanie Mason (Joseph), Brittanie Cook (Dusty), Brandie Teal (Ben); brother: Randy Evans; 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
