Altah Lynne Kiker

Ms. Altah "Lynne" Kiker, age 75, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.

Lynne was born on July 11, 1947, in Deltona, Florida where she was raised by her late parents Frederick and Altah Kiker. As a young woman, Lynne moved to New York where she enjoyed wonderful life experiences. She returned to Florida and worked as a set designer on It's A Small World at Disney World. Lynne eventually settled in Snellville, Georgia where she had a successful career as an insurance underwriter with J. Smith Lanier for more than 30 years. She enjoyed a quiet retirement in Concord, Georgia with her daughter, sister, and grandchildren.

Lynne loved to sew and was an excellent seamstress with a real talent of making beautiful clothing. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. Lynne was a longtime member and acolyte director at St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Snellville. Lynne was a bubbly and positive person. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and Gamma who gave the very best hugs.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and Ollie Sanders; grandchildren: Courtney Prichard, Ian Prichard, Stephen Prichard, KateLynne Prichard, Matthew Sanders and Hunter Sanders; sister: Marsha Elixson; former son-in-law: Eric Prichard; beloved pet dogs: Leo and Luna.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 22 ^nd at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 1520 Oak Road SW, Snellville, Georgia. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
