Anne Castles

Ms. Ardilla Anne Passmore Castles, age 69, of Meansville, passed away September 1, 2024.  She was born in Griffin, daughter of the late James Marion Passmore and Sarah Crawley Passmore.  Anne worked at Waits Cleaners in Griffin for 20 years, where she loved talking to customers and helping people. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandson.  Anne also liked to play card games.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Passmore Trice and Lynn Passmore Huckaby, and brother-in-law, Doug Landers.

She is survived by her daughter:  Michelle Miller (Nick); grandchildren: Hali Miller (Ashton Rogers) and Nathan Miller; great-grandson: Landyn Rogers; sisters and brothers: Maxine Passmore Fisher, Jimmy Passmore (Colleen), Sue Passmore Landers, Bill Passmore (Karen), and Toni Passmore Robertson (David); many nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law and best friend:  Beth Brady.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Luke officiating.  Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
