Anthony Wilson

Anthony Thomas "Tony" Wilson, age 64, of Zebulon, passed away April 21, 2023, at his residence.

Tony was born on November 7, 1958. He grew up in Pike County and graduated from Pike County High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was a former Pike County Volunteer Firefighter and once served as the Fire Chief. He was a hard worker who enjoyed the beach, yard work, grilling, and camping. His favorite thing was spending time with his grandkids.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Nanilene Lee Wilson and his wife Penny Cook Wilson.

Survivors include his sons and daughters in law, Nathan and Shelby Wilson of Meansville, Zac and Shelby Wilson of Zebulon; father, Rev. Harvey (Kim) Wilson; grandchildren, Leo, Callie, Skylar, and Brooklyn Wilson; sister, Sandy (Randy) Harris; brother, John (Kelly) Wilson; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Boswell; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 7 PM, in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
