Barry Dwayne Wilson

Mr. Barry Dwayne Wilson, age 66, of Pike County, lost his battle with cancer on October 21, 2024.  He grew up in the Spalding and Pike County area, son of the late Raymond Lewis Wilson and the late Emma Jean Ellis. Barry worked as a carpenter and contractor for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Michael "Mike" Wilson, Edmund "Perry" Wilson and Danny Keith Wilson.

He is survived by his wife: Bonnie Wilson; children: Amy Maguire (Patrick), Jon Hopper (Amanda), Joseph Trice (Kim), and Margaret Crawford (Ricky Jr.); grandchildren: Peyton Crawford, Kerragan Gallop, Tristan Maguire, Autumn Hopper, Teague Maguire, Connor Maguire, Adalyn Trice, Lydia Trice, and Corbin Maguire; sister: Sheila Evans (Derald); numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. in Moody Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ricky Crawford, Sr. officiating.
