Beverly Bennett

Beverly Jean Bennett, aged 63, of Concord, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Born on August 5, 1960, in Sonoma, California, Beverly was the beloved wife of Cecil James Bennett for 38 years. Together, they raised two children, their son C.J. and daughter Rhianna.

Known for her radiant personality and sense of fun, Beverly brought joy to every gathering. After her retirement with the Georgia Department of Revenue, Beverly gained a passion for genealogy research, enjoyed swimming with friends, working out with Silver Sneakers, watching the Weather Channel, gardening, and dancing the night away. Beverly's life was a testament to love, compassion, and joy, and she leaves behind a lasting legacy.

Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Ann Scoggins, her stepfather Dan Jordan, her father-in-law James Bennett, her father, Harold Jones, and her brother, Keith Jones.

She is survived by her loving husband Cecil, her children C.J. and Rhianna, son-in-law Ben, two siblings, Kimberly and Michael, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens in Griffin, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Coco's Cupboard or ALS Association in her name.
