Bill Harp

Mr. William "Bill" Harp, age 69, of Thomaston, passed away March 4, 2022. He grew up in Fayetteville, son of the late John Burch Harp, Sr. and Mary Lunsford Harp. Bill was an electrical contractor and for many years he owned and operated his own company, W. E. Harp Electric. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, cooking and grilling. He especially loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Burch Harp, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and Brandon Thomas of Meansville; granddaughter: Mindy Carlisle of Pike County; fiancé: Sara Moncrief of Thomaston; brothers, a sister and their spouses: Charles Harp of Fayetteville, Patsy and Moody Elliott of Inman, David and Gayle Harp of Fayetteville, and Kenny and Brenda Harp of Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.  Friends may visit the family on Saturday, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
