Bill Scoggins

Mr. William "Bill" Franklin Scoggins, age 76, of Griffin, passed away March 29, 2026. Bill grew up in West End, Atlanta, son of the late James William Scoggins and the late Margaret Porter Scoggins.  He attended Brown High School. For most of his life, Bill was an automobile mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars and listening to classic rock music. Bill loved his family and was very protective of his four sisters.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Rhyner Scoggins and sister, Elise Lemming.

He is survived by his son: Randy Scoggins; step-daughters: Audrey Slade and Vibee Kennedy; sisters: Linda Jordan (Johnny), Ruth Haywood (Joe), and Gayle Parker; several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A family celebration of life is being planned for Bill and will be held at a later date.
