Billy Wilson

Mr. Billy Wayne Wilson, age 63, passed away December 21, 2021, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.  He was born in Atlanta, son of the late Floyd Wilson and Catherine Pye Wilson. Billy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, serving in the military for four years. He was a free spirit who loved classic rock music, throwing the frisbee, and playing soccer. Billy was an avid GA Tech fan.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Wilson and Tommy Wilson.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: James and Robin Wilson of Columbus; sister and brother-in-law: Deborah and Jeff Shelton of Griffin; sister-in-law: Robin Wilson; nieces and nephews: Brittany, Katy, Tyler and Rachel, Zack and Gabby; great-nieces Ashlynn and Paisley and great nephews Camden, Lincoln and Maddux.

A memorial service is being planned for 1:00 pm, January 15, 2021, at New Life Assembly of God Church, 1630 Zebulon Road, Griffin.
