Bubba Andrews

Mr. Chester "Bubba" Mardell Andrews, age 61, of Griffin, passed away March 30, 2022.

He grew up in Griffin, son of the late Lawrence Marcus Andrews and Virginia Mae Leach Andrews Dickerson. Bubba graduated from Griffin High School in 1978, and attended Auburn University where he played football. Bubba began working in corrections in 1986, and was currently a Sergeant for Spalding County CI. He enjoyed camping and riding horses. Bubba liked to grill, and was known as the "chicken master."

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Andrews.

He is survived by his sons: Jordan Andrews (Casey), Tyler Andrews, and Luke Andrews; grandchildren: Jordan Andrews Jr., Jayden Andrews, Emerson "Chicky" Andrews; and many friends.

It was Bubba's wish to be cremated and no formal services are planned.
