Burrell Holcomb

John Burrell Holcomb IV, age 19, of Williamson, passed away April 17, 2024.  He grew up in Williamson and graduated from Pike County High School in 2023, where he was active in the Theater Club.  He worked at Dairy Queen in Zebulon and enjoyed on-line gaming, especially Dungeon and Dragons, writing, and jazz.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents John Burrell Holcomb, Jr., Deloris Holcomb, and Teresa Head Hayes.

He is survived by his parents: John Burrell Holcomb III (Melissa) of Williamson and Shelby Smallwood of Jonesboro; brothers and sisters: Hannah Holcomb, Lucas Dover, Austin Dover, Brantley Holcomb, Paul Robbins, Alida McBrayer, Ryan Nichols, and Saleen Nichols; grandparents: Donna Dowell and Keith Smallwood; aunts and an uncles: Amanda McElreath, Rana Arth, Ruby Moore, Dianne Jarrard, Tommy Haywood, Lazarus (Andrea) Mason, Chris (Teresa) Fincher.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
