Claudine Jones

Claudine Eppinger Jones, age 71, of Williamson, passed away September 9, 2021.  Claudine was born in Meansville, daughter of the late Crawford Eppinger and Elvin Langley Eppinger.  She was a graduate of Pike County High School. Claudine was a telephone operator for Southern Bell, where she retired. She enjoyed nature, arts and crafts, along with spending time with the ones she loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Henry Jones, three brothers, Joseph Eppinger, Glenn Eppinger and Wilbur Eppinger, and a sister, Barbara Randall.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law:  Michael and Rebecca Jones of Laredo, TX; grandchildren:  Robert Moreno, Madison Jones and Morgan Jones; special friend: Jimmy Malone of Williamson; mother-in-law: Marie Jones of High Falls; sister-in-law: Janie Archer of High Falls; brother-in-law: Joel Jones of Griffin; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, September 16, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor James D. Wilson officiating.
