In Loving Memory of Cristy Lou Richardson

Ms. Cristy Lou (White) Richardson, aged 64, of Durham, North Carolina, passed away on September 18, 2026 after a long illness. She is the daughter of Evelyn “Doodle” White and the late Monty White. She was born on February 21, 1962 in Pontiac, Michigan.

Cristy spent much of her time at home and enjoyed cultivating her indoor plants, cooking, and loved to read books. She treasured time spent with loved ones and most of all she enjoyed family get-togethers where she was surrounded by the people who meant the most to her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jhaedin Clowes.

Cristy is survived by her mother, Evelyn “Doodle” White of Georgia; daughter, Jamee Richardson of North Carolina; sister, Cathy Carmendy of California; brother, Monty White, Jr. of Michigan; sister, Stacy White of Georgia; grandchildren, Therrin Clowes, Honesti Clowes, and Kaizen Carnell; nieces, Jordan Silan, Frances Carmendy, and Gabriella White; great-niece, Margot Silan; and her Uncle, Phillip White and wife Cathy along with many of her beloved cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at the Church of Joy at 11 a.m. located at 3080 Highway 362 West, Williamson, GA 30292. Pastor Josh Carpenter will be officiating.
