Daniel Gatlin

Mr. Daniel Gatlin, age 59, of Forsyth, passed away June 15, 2023, at his home.  Daniel was born in Lakeland, Florida, son of the late Fountain Cleveland Gatlin, Sr. and Helen Skinner Wooten.  In his early years, he worked on a dairy farm. He became a diesel mechanic and worked at Milner Milling and more recently Florida Rock in Tyrone. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a brother, Henry and sister, Ruthie.

He is survived by his daughter: Anna Marie Gatlin; sons: Nathan Gatlin and James Gatlin; their mother and former spouse: Marsha Gatlin; grandchildren: Daniel Zane Tennant and Abigail Grace Tennant; brothers and sisters: Charlotte Patrick (Robert), Fountain "Buddy" Gatlin, Jr., Virginia Sheridan, Jewel Marsiglio, Melissa Peugh, and Jeff Gatlin (Dale); sister-in-law: Gloria Gatlin; and many other cousins and friends.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
