Daniel "Danny" John Eppstaedt

Mr. Daniel "Danny" John Eppstaedt passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at his home in Hampton. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Robert and Roberta Eppstaedt.

Danny was born in Brookfield and moved to Georgia as a young child. A true jack of all trades, he worked many different kinds of jobs throughout his life, including residential and commercial painting. Danny had a deep love for rock and roll and spent many years attending concerts and enjoying live music whenever he could -- especially if it was loud.

He was a devoted football fan who proudly supported the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, the Green Bay Packers, and the Atlanta Falcons. He also enjoyed playing an occasional round of golf. Above all else, Danny treasured time spent with his kids and grandchildren, and loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife: Lawanda Michelle Brooks; children: Ema Ann Eppstaedt, Chenoa Lynn Rogers, and Christopher Lee Brooks; grandchildren: Alyssa, Dilyan, Caiden, Ariyah, Ava, Brycen, Caylee, Briar, and Chipper; siblings: Linda George and Mark Eppstaedt; uncles: Tom and Ron Reinhold; best friend: Max the dog; Waylen the granddog; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday May 16, 2026, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m., at the funeral home.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Moody Daniel Funeral Home. Pastor Donnie Skidmore will officiate.
