David Harwell

Mr. David Cecil Harwell, age 62, of Thomaston, passed away October 17, 2021, at Upson Regional Medical Center.  David was a welder and mechanic for the Georgia DOT for many years. He enjoyed beekeeping and loved fishing and all things outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Claude Harwell.

He is survived by his wife: Martha Harwell; daughters:  Jessica Long of Orlando, FL and Maggie Hernandez of Toledo, OH; mother: Yvonne Smallwood Harwell of Orchard Hill; sister and brother-in-law: Kelly and Sonny Spear of Griffin; niece and Nephew: Holly Spear and Rusty Spear; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 22, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.  Friends may visit the family on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
