Debbie Strickland

Ms. Deborah "Debbie" Ann Blackmon Strickland, age 66, of Thomaston, passed away September 6, 2022, at her home. She grew up in Thomaston and worked at Martha Mills for over 10 years. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Felton Blackmon, and her sisters, Peggy Canady and Betty Jo Thomas.

She is survived by her children: Tracey McKee (Joe) and Kelly Ussery (Christy) all of Thomaston; grandchildren: Paige Mullis, Dillon Adams, Stephen Ussery, Shane Ussery, Morgan McKee and McKayla McKee; mother: Kathleen Blackmon of Thomaston; sister: Connie Blackmon of Thomaston; special nieces: Kathy and Kaylee Griffin and Kasey Casto.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 11, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Jereme Chaney officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
