Dennis Buice

Mr. Stephen Dean "Dennis" Buice, Sr., age 64, of Flovilla, passed away March 11, 2024.  He grew up in Atlanta, son of the late Charles Walter Buice and Joyce Yvonne Johnson Buice.  Dennis was a professional painter.  He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was the most patient, kind, caring and giving person you could have ever met.  He showed his children the meaning of unconditional love.  He was their hero.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and a sister, Benny Buice, Bonnie Caillas, and Geneva Schmidt and husband Richard Schmidt.

He is survived by his wife:  Deborah Buice; children: Joyce Buice, Amanda Buice (Paige James), Nichole Buice Cruce (J.D.), Stephen Buice, Jr. and Dennis Buice (Haley); grandchildren: Kayson Buice, Larissa Bassett (Ashlee), Kevin Buice, Perry Buice, Isabella Buice, Morgan Buice, Jason Davis, Ella Gardner, Eden Gardner and Emilee Gardner; great-grandson: Nathan Bassett; brother:  Lee Buice; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
