Diane Scott

Diane "Memaw" Taylor Scott, age 65, of Concord, passed away October 1, 2021.  She was born in Atlanta, daughter of the late Archie Duncan Taylor and Ruby Shipman Taylor.  Diane was a homemaker and enjoyed restoring furniture and painting. She made the best homemade biscuits and loved to teach others how to make them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy A. Scott, Sr. and her sister Gail Washington.

She is survived by her sons: Jimmy A. "J. J." Scott, Jr. (Emily) of Concord, and Justin Scott (Jennifer) of Williamson; step-sons: Jason Scott (Brandy) of Williamson and Jody Scott (Misty) of Griffin; grandchildren: Dailon, Kierston, Caden, Chelsea, Hallie, Brandon, Emily, Lyric, Grayson, Lindsey and Logan; great-grandson: Kenny; great-granddaughter due any day: Jancler; niece: LeeAnn Clay (Todd) of Concord; several other nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Diane's life will be held at a later date.
