Dollie Newton

Ms. Dollie Delores Newton, age 69, of Griffin, passed away November 29, 2025.  Dollie was born in Atlanta on January 22, 1956.  She enjoyed reading, music and studying the Bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Brooks Newton and Jeanette McVicker Pedersen Britt, and a niece, Noel Florentina Cravens.

She is survived by her son: Steven Allen Cain Bell; sister: Ethel Marie Pedersen Cravens; niece: Holly Marie Cravens; great-nephew: Joshua A. Cravens; cousins: Bobby McVicker, Donna McVicker Johnson (Donnie) and Dawn Johnson.

A service to celebrate Dollie's life will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Moody officiating.  A committal service will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.
