Donald Thomas Niblett

Donald Thomas Niblett, age 60, of Barnesville, passed away April 19, 2023.

Don was born on May 27, 1962. He was a lifelong resident of Barnesville, Georgia. He was a graduate of the Barnesville Academy class of 1980. Don was raised as a member of Rock Springs Church in Milner. He also served on the church security team. He was a mechanic all of his working life.

Don was a quiet man and a loyal friend to many. He enjoyed collecting cars and motorcycles. Don loved his family and doted on his grandchildren. He was a wonderful father, son, and "Papi."

Don was preceded in death by his brothers, Andy Kosar and Rob Ritcher.

He is survived by his parents: Walter and Mary Anne Niblett; daughters: Susan Niblett and Sara Moyer; stepdaughters: Nikki Browning and Heather Cunningham; grandchildren: Wilder, Kadence, Emma, Rylan, Naomi, Kaia, Nolen, Madison, Joshua, and Eli; brother: Jay Kosar.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2023, on the Rock Springs Campus at Providence Church at the Cross. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Friends may visit the family beginning at 2 PM at the church. The Niblett family is being assisted by Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
