Doris Patricia Henley

Doris Patricia Henley, age 65, of Thomaston, daughter of the late Bud and Sarah Gross, passed away October 2, 2026.

She loved to spend time outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, camping and doing anything outside. She always took lots of pride in taking care of her grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings: Elizabeth Corley, Lee Gross, Tony Gross, Norma Gross, Margie Shelley, Paula Gay, and James Gross.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Jimmy Henley; siblings: George Gross (Janie), Mark Gross, Annette Long (Steve), Jackie Gravil (Terry); children: Donald Henley (Tasha), and Kelly Henley (Matt Lane); grandchildren: Hunter and Fisher Henley, Hannah, Hailey, Lindsey, Lilly and Jordan Stewart; her very beloved puppy: Lucy and many nieces and nephews.
