Frances Hardin

Mrs. Frances Starkey Hardin, age 94, of Williamson, passed away November 18, 2023.  She grew up in Guntersville, AL, daughter of the late Dewey Starkey and Cora Lee Townsend Starkey.  In 1968, Mrs. Hardin moved to the Jonesboro area where she lived for several years before moving to Williamson.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, flower gardening, watching her hummingbirds, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Hardin and her brother, J. D. Starkey.

She is survived by her daughters: Ann Taylor of Williamson and Lou McCard of Zebulon; grandchildren:  Carol McCard, Lisa Taylor, Jean Killeen, Teri Taylor Alford, Jimmy McCard, and Kevin Taylor; great-grandchildren: Tiffany, Storm, Skye, Hayden, Gracie, Taylor, Wesley, Nick, Nicole, Daniel, McKenzie and Tucker; great-great-grandchildren: Aubree, Jackson, Aurora, Dakota, Brindle and Isaiah; sisters: Connie Pendergrass and Carolyn Manders both of Warrenton, AL; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
