Gary D. Drummond, Jr.

Mr. Gary Donald Drummond, Jr., age 73, of Milner, passed away October 7, 2026. Gary grew up in Hapeville, son of the late Gary and Doreen Drummond. He graduated from Forest Park High School. For most of his life, Gary worked in the construction business. In recent years, he worked as a security guard for Guardian Angel.

Gary enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, singing, and vegetable gardening. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Mike Smith and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Sheila Drummond; daughters: Linda Smith and Marcy Drummond; grandchildren: Savannah, Olivia, Gavin, and Evelyn; sister: Lynn Drummond and her wife Tamara Thompson; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
