Georgia Ann Pruitt

Ms. Georgia Ann Duffel Pruitt, age 68, of Jefferson, GA, passed away April 15, 2025.  Georgia was born June 17, 1956, daughter of the late George Rufus Duffel and the late Marie Smallwood Duffel. She grew up in Atlanta and also lived in Tyrone before moving to Jefferson five years ago to be near her family.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing Bingo and watching wrestling on TV.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother George Russell Duffel.

She is survived by her companion of 40 years: Ronald Shadburn of Jefferson; daughters: Rena Bone (William) of Concord, Tammy Trimble (Michael) of Jackson and Gypsy Pike (Jason) of Williamson; grandchildren: Kenneth, Emilie, Jaden, Kaylin, Kayson, Kynlee, and Haley; brother, Grady Duffel of Ellijay; sisters: Marthalene Twilley of Jefferson, Lera Shaw of Jonesboro, and Alice Taylor of Monticello.

A service celebrating Georgia's life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2 p.m., at the home of her daughter Gypsy Pike, 269 Arbor View Drive, Williamon.
