Gina Kaye Pollard

Ms. Gina Kaye Royals Pollard, age 50, of Thomaston, passed away October 22, 2021, at her home.  She grew up in the Griffin and Thomaston area, daughter of the late Carolyn Kaye Arrington Royals and Terrell (Terry) Royals. Gina was a homemaker and a devoted mother to her two boys. Gina loved God, her boys, her family, and cooking.  She was known for her wonderful chicken and dressing, chicken and dumplings, and potato salad.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Nanny Mary Landers, grandparents Howard and Lois Arrington, uncles Stanley Albritton, Jeffery Landers, aunt Connie Johnston and her cousin Michael Goodman.

She is survived by her sons: Dylan Pollard and Cameron Pollard; sister: Angelia Reeser of Dublin; uncles and aunts: Ernie and Kathy Arrington of Griffin, Brenda and Steve Wiley of Meansville, Sheryl and Steve Clark of Thomaston, Elaine Albritton of Meansville, Margie Kelly of Dublin, Todd Landers of Thomaston, Candy Landers of Griffin, Glenda Goodman of Thomaston, Roxie Landers of Thomaston; special cousin: Mandy Skelton; cousins: Jan and Tim Long, Micah and Taylor Arrington, Tammy and Dennis Smith, Joe and Tammy Wiley, Shane and Alice Wiley, Brian and Alyson Clark, Matthew and Karen Clark, Cynthia Potts, Wayne Goodman, Lisa Corley and Chris Landers; and very special friend: Wendie Hulbert of Griffin; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Dr. Bud Gleaton, Pastor Gene Luke, and Pastor Micah Arrington officiating.
