Glenda Kay Burkett

Mrs. Glenda Kay Burkett, age 83, of Thomaston, passed away June 30, 2022.

Mrs. Burkett was born on April 18, 1939 to the late Glenn and Ruby Hardeman. She retired after a long career as a garment inspector. She was a longtime resident of Thomaston, Georgia and member of Mt. View Baptist Church. Mrs. Burkett was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by many.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Burkett was preceded in death by her daughter: Kim Burkett. She is survived by her beloved husband: Sammy Burkett; sons: Brad Burkett and Kenneth (Lorina) Burkett, all of Thomaston; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
