Gloria Mcdaniel

Mrs. Gloria Carolyn Byce McDaniel, age 74, of Griffin, passed away May 2, 2022, at Brightmoor Hospice. Gloria grew up in Thomaston, daughter of the late Chalmers Byce and Carolyn Daniel Byce. She was a homemaker. Gloria loved George Strait and enjoyed watching wrestling. Her favorite wrestler was Michael Hayes.

She is survived by her daughter: Sandy McDaniel of Griffin; brothers-in-law: Bobby Taylor and George McDaniel both of Thomaston; her cat Buffy; and many cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, at 3 p.m., in Flint River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Friends may visit the family at 302 Magnolia Avenue in Thomaston.
