Greg Taylor

Mr. Louis Gregory "Greg" Taylor, age 61, of Thomaston, passed away September 28, 2021, at Upson Regional Medical Center.  Greg was born on February 28, 1960, in Orlando, FL. He was a pipefitter and welder for the local #72.  Greg enjoyed farming, fishing and gardening.  He was a member and deacon at Hebron Community Church in Thomaston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis George Taylor, and two sisters, Theresa Sanchez, and Cynthia Taylor.

He is survived by his wife: Marina Taylor; daughter: Megan Vermilye (Zach) of Rome, Ohio; son:  Chris Taylor; mother:  Liz Corley; and sister: Jina Teston (Bobby) all of Thomaston; nephew: Thor Shiver.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 1, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 11 a.m., at Hebron Community Church, 2069 Hendrick's Church Road in Thomaston. Pastor Neil Anderson will officiate.

Burial will be held on Sunday, October 3, 3 p.m., in Bethany Presbyterian Cemetery in Union Point.
