Gregory Loren Smith

Mr. Gregory Loren Smith, age 76, of Jackson, passed away on November 5, 2026, at his residence.

Greg was born on November 27, 1949, in Miami, FL, son of the late Charles Edward Smith, and the late Betty Jane Philbeck Capps. He grew up in College Park and in his early years he enjoyed muscle cars. He served his country in the United States Navy. Greg was a truckdriver most of his life and was an avid collector of firearms.

I addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Vicki Jean Marshall Smith.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Dani Kelly; grandchildren, Kati and Brandon Wilson, Ridge and Jessi Kelly, Jessi and Taylor Smith; great grandchild, Dakota Ridge Kelly; sisters, Kathy Bickers, Trish and Keith Jarvis, Candy Zagar; brother, Steve Smith.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM, in Eastview Cemetery, 1138 Woodland Rd., Conyers, Ga.
