Howard Lee Mullins

Mr. Howard Lee Mullins, age 85, of Zebulon, passed away November 18, 2023.  Mr. Mullins was born in Griffin, son of the late Horace Lee Mullins and Eula Frances Maxwell Mullins.  In his early career, he worked at Kawneer in Forest Park for five years and then at K-Mart Distribution Center in Newnan for 28 years before retiring.  Mr. Mullins lived in Griffin for many years and moved to Zebulon in 1986.  He was a very talented musician who played numerous instruments, including the piano, guitar, banjo, and harmonica. Mr. Mullins enjoyed fishing, cookouts, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children: David Mullins (Cheryl) of Zebulon, Scott Mullins (Katie) of Senoia and Amy Swanson (Wallace) of Meansville; grandchildren: Nathan Mullins, Kyle Caraway (Jana), Haley Caraway, Katelyn Mercer (Daniel), Shane Wainwright (Alexandra), Summer Mays, Kelsey Murray (Chris) and Kayleigh Manley (Nick); great-grandchildren: Jace Caraway, Olivia Mays, Helena Martinez (Daniel), Colton Wainwright, Harper Wainwright, and Amelia Murray; great-great-grandson: River Martinez.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 2 p.m., in Providence Church at Rock Springs, 1005 Chappell Mill Road, Milner. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate.  Burial will follow at High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery on Parker Branch Road in Barnesville.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the church.
