Hunter Knight

Mr. Hunter Thomas Knight, age 26, passed away June 7, 2024.  Hunter was a kind soul with a heart of gold.  He loved children, video games and fishing.  He will be missed greatly by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alisha Knight, grandfathers, Pete Knight and Dale Jackson.

He is survived by his children: Johnathan Thomas and Ava Renee; his father and step-mother: Stacy and Casey Knight; brothers: Holden Knight, Joshua Van Houten, Billie James Van Houten, and Keith Shumate; sisters: Stephane Knight and Stephanie McCumber; grandmothers: Elaine Knight and Teresa Jackson; special family friends: Seth and Shyanne Grimm, Austin Edwards, Courtney Ellerbee and William "Bubba" Trotter; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends who were like family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
