Jackie Ballou

Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Arnold Ballou, age 73, of Thomaston, passed away April 17, 2023.  Jackie lived most of her life in Louisville, KY.  She moved to Thomaston in 2017 to be near family.  Jackie enjoyed spinning fiber into yarn on her wheel, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Clarence Ryan, and her brother, Raymond Arnold, Jr.

She is survived by her children: Mark Elzey (Jackie) and Deborah Elzey (Craig Kirschmann); grandchildren: Andrew Elzey, Sarah Elzey, and Anthony Bell; brothers and sisters: Arthur Arnold, Gloria Azarian (Hossein), David Ryan, and Teresa Berry; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., in Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Meansville.  Chaplain Mark L. Twyman will officiate.
