Jada Marshall

Jada McKenzie Marshall, age 22, of Meansville, passed away May 9, 2025, at her home.  Jada grew up in Meansville and graduated from Pike County High School in 2021.  Her first job was at Ingles in Barnesville. For the last two years, she has worked at Taco Bell in Thomaston where she was a Junior Manager.  Jada attended Vega Community Church.  She was friendly, ambitious, loved everyone she met and had the most beautiful smile. She enjoyed putting on her makeup and styling her hair.

She was preceded in death by her grandma, Martha Williams, and infant cousin, Lumi Alana Bridges.

She is survived by her mother: Kristina Selph (Nick Harris); father: Willie Marshall, Jr. (Cat); brothers and a sister: Jordan Marshall, Jaicee Freeman, Johnathan Marshall, and Keontae Robinson; grandparents: Carol and Allen Selph and Mary Smith; aunts and uncles: Timmy Selph (Elizabeth), April Dawson, Lindsey Selph, Pam Harris and Nicole Harris; great aunts: Claudette Young and Goldie Blount; close friends: Jackie Young, Justin Boggs and Jabahri Pinckney; many cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
