Janice Mcclendon

Mrs. Janice L. McClendon, age 81, of Woodbury, passed away October 19, 2024, at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

Janice was born on February 5, 1943, in Atlanta, daughter of the late Marley Hamby Lance, Sr., and the late Mary Louise Dempsey Lance. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and tending to her flower garden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Zack Reeves; sister, Mary Jo Lance; brother, Marley Lance, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, John L. McClendon, Jr.; son and daughter in law John T. Reeves (Donna) of McDonough; grandchildren, John Thomas Reeves, Haley Reeves Spell, Lacey Reeves Ackerman, and Brittany Reeves Houston; 8 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 1-2 PM, at the funeral home. Rev. Michael Moody will be officiating.
