Jeanne Grant

Mrs. Jeanne Dean Grant, age 53, of Zebulon, passed away September 26, 2023, at her home.  She grew up in Zebulon, graduating from Pike County High School in 1988.  She then earned her degree in Secretarial Science from Griffin Technical College, now called Southern Crescent. For 20 years, she worked in the office with her husband, Terry, in their family business in Griffin, Grant Sheet Metal and Welding. Jeanne enjoyed aerobics, exercising, flower gardening, and yard work.  She was an animal lover and a kind and thoughtful person, who never missed an opportunity to help others.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Gabriel, her father, Roy Lester Dean, step-father, Charles Gabriel, and infant brother, Harold Lester Dean.

She is survived by her devoted husband: Terry Grant; son: Matthew Grant and Michelle Grant; grandchildren: Isabella Sophia Grant and Jaxon Lee Grant; aunt: Loretta Bassett; uncles: Webster Bassett and Linwood Bassett; her fur babies: Patches, Petey, Snoopy, Dutchess and Simba; a sister, niece, many cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Creswell and Pastor Mike Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
