Jefflyn Williams-Massengale

Mrs. Jefflyn Cecil Jones Williams-Massengale, age 90, passed away November 16, 2024. She was born in Molena, daughter of the late Robert C. Jones and Jewel Corrine Pilkenton Jones. Jefflyn graduated from Concord High School and worked in the banking industry. She also lived in the Atlanta and Griffin areas for several years. She enjoyed gardening, feeding hummingbirds, cooking and volunteering at Zebulon First Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Larry Williams and Hiram Massengale, sisters, Evelyn Jones Anderson, Martha Jones Austin and Virginia Jones Tucker, and brothers, Frederick Jones and Henry Jones.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Linda and Bill Cook and Debbie and Todd Hafner; grandchildren: William J. Cook, Jr., Robert Joseph Cook and Megan Leigh Wiggins; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 11 a.m., at the Jones Family Home Place, 3434 Highway 109, Molena. Her nephew, James W. Austin will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Home Place.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Gideons International or to The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in memory of Jefflyn.
