Jennie Peek

Mrs. Jennie Mae-Howell Jackson Peek, age 89, of Williamson, passed away April 23, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Peek was born on September 29, 1932, in Vidalia, daughter of the late Benjamin Pope Jackson, Sr., and the late Jennie Estelle Walker Jackson. She grew up in Vidalia and graduated from Vidalia High School. She married the late Joseph Harold Peek and started a family in the Atlanta area. She loved music and was in the choir at Jones Memorial Methodist Church in Forest Park for many years. Mrs. Peek was retired from Delta Airlines.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Daniel Peek; siblings, B.P. Jackson, Jr., Frances Jackson Smith, Joseph Walker Jackson.

Survivors include her daughters, Laura Peek Crowe (Barry) of Locust Grove, Susanne Peek MacNeill of Lawrenceville; sons, David G. Peek (D'Anne) of Williamson, Daniel V. Peek of Jonesboro; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

It was Mrs. Peek's wish to be cremated and buried with her husband in Vidalia.
