Joe Mckinley

Mr. Arthur Joseph McKinley, age 65, of Zebulon, passed away February 27, 2022.  Joe was a hometown boy who grew up in Pike County. When he was young he enjoyed playing ball in the backyard with his friends and racing his go cart around the racetrack.  He was a natural born mechanic and could fix anything mechanical.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Douglas McKinley, his grandparents, J. H. and Ada Brazier, Jr., and Cleo and Doug McKinley, his uncle, Russell Brazier.

He is survived by his mother: Janelle Brazier McKinley; Sisters and brothers-in-law: Sharon and Ronnie Steger and Kay and Hal Sawyer; nieces, nephews and their spouses: Shanna and Kevin Needham, Brantley and Crystal Steger, Chad and Brenda Steger, Jason "Bleu" and Jennifer Flournoy, and Kayla and John Hurt; many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 2 p.m., in the Zebulon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
