John (Jb) Smallwood

Mr. John Bernard "J.B." Smallwood, age 83, passed away on May 11 ^th , 2022.  He was born in Thomson, Georgia June 19, 1938 to the late Wayne and Oleta Smallwood.  JB owned and operated Smallwood Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning in Griffin for over 25 years.  JB was married to the late Collon Joan Smallwood for 63 years.  JB was also preceded in death by brothers Larry and Marshall Smallwood, and a sister Ira Dale Scott.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Cindy Smallwood of Zebulon, Ga.; grandchildren and spouses: Jonathan and Civility Bowling of Richmond Hill, Ga.; John and Angela Smallwood of Monticello, Ga.; and Ryan and Chris Otero of Lithonia, Ga; and four great grandchildren.  He is also survived by brothers, sisters and their spouses: Jim and Gerry Smallwood of Griffin, Ga.; Pete and Marty Smallwood of Augusta, Ga.; Laverne of Grayson, Ga and Laura Smallwood of Griffin, Ga.

A private ceremony will be held by the immediate family.  In lieu of flowers or cards, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation.06/19/38
