Johnny Milton Wells

Mr. Johnny Milton Wells, age 87, of Zebulon, passed away April 26, 2025.

Mr. Wells was born on May 28, 1937, in Jackson, son of the late James Butler Wells, and the late Cora Oglesby Wells. During school, he lettered in football and baseball and later enjoyed church league softball. He was a former Scoutmaster, and loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He drove a propane truck for many years. Mr. Wells was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bagwell Wells; brothers, Eugene, Elzie, and Harold; great granddaughters, Ella and Harper.

Survivors include his children, Audie (Patricia) Wells of Zebulon, Penny (Eddie) Fowler of Euharlee, Dondi (Cissy) Wells of Orchard Hill; grandchildren, LaShae (Greg) Wells, Aubrey (Amber) Wells, Alyssa Lott, Brandon (Natalie) Chambley, Candice (Colby) Brinson, Bridgett Bailey, Krickett (Matty) Reynolds, James (Brittany) Thompson; great grandchildren, Elijah, Charlotte, Gibson, Kobe, Emilee, Kaylee, Aimee, Cora, Wells, Logan, Kora, Gunner, Hannah, and Ruth.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 2 PM, in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. A family burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville.

Friends may visit the family on Monday evening from 6-8 PM, at the funeral home.
