Jon L. Allgood

Mr. Jon (Jonny) Lidelle Allgood, age 55, of Molena, passed away August 26, 2021.  Jon grew up in Fayetteville. He worked for Delta Airlines for many years, retiring in 2020.  He was an electrician and was currently working for UGA Griffin Campus in the maintenance and facility department. His faith was strong. Jon was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Molena. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Atlanta Braves and Westerns. He especially loved being with his family.

He is survived by his wife: Lauren Allgood; sons: Caleb Allgood and Jake Allgood;  stepchildren: Ben Parker and Eli Parker; parents: Don and Joann Allgood; a sister, four brothers and their spouses: Carol and Mike Johnson, Randy and Marsha Allgood, Derrick and Kathy Allgood, Brian Allgood, and Eric and Robin Allgood; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, August 29, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

A private family burial will be held.
