Jr Lopez

Baldemar Martinez "JR" Lopez, Jr., age 39, of Griffin, passed away April 6, 2022, at his residence.

JR was born in Atlanta on July 27, 1982. He grew up in Griffin and was a jokester who enjoyed making people smile. He loved drag racing and fishing. He was employed with Donaldson Electric.

Survivors include his three boys that he loved dearly, Ethan, Tyson, and Mason Lopez; significant other and mother of his children, Jennifer McMurray of Griffin; parents, Otto and Fay Lopez of Molena; sisters, Diane Ridgeway of Molena, Jade Lopez of Stockbridge; brothers and sisters in law, John and Amy Lopez of Griffin, Michael and Rachel Lopez of Thomaston, Rey and Shannon Lopez of Barnesville; many nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Bella.

A drop-in celebration of life will be held on Sunday April 10, 2022, from 4-7 PM, at The Lake Pavilion, 460 Aerodrome Way, Griffin, Ga 30224.
