Judith Anderson

Mrs. Judith King Anderson, of Zebulon, passed away April 28, 2023, at Hope Center Memory Care in Fayetteville. She was born on August 2, 1942, in Barnesville. She attended school there then graduated from Gordon Jr. College, Tift College, and GA State University. She taught school in Columbus, Griffin-Spalding County, Griffin Academy, and Pike County.

After retiring, Judith enjoyed walking, growing beautiful flowers, and gardening. She was a member of the Crepe Myrtle Garden Club in Zebulon. Her greatest joy was being a loving and faithful wife.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Ernestine King and a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Harold Martin.

She is survived by Robert Anderson, her devoted husband of 50 years. She is also survived by a niece and her husband, Dawn and Bob Schlich of St. Simons, and by her dedicated caregiver, Mary Nalls of Zebulon.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 1 p.m., in Zebulon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 212 Griffin St., Zebulon.

Friends may visit the family on Monday, beginning at 12 p.m., at the graveside.
