Judy Boyett

Mrs. Judy Lynn Wilson Boyett, age 51, of Hampton, passed away June 24, 2025, at her home.  Judy grew up in Thomaston, daughter of the late Gary Wilson, Sr. and Yi Song "July" Cha Wilson.  She lived in Forsyth for a few years before moving to Hampton where she had lived for the last 20 years. Judy liked to cook, clean and go shopping.  She worked at Waffle House for many years and enjoyed cooking and talking to customers.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Daniel Boyett, and her PawPaw Gary Lamar Wilson, and her mother-in-law, Ethel Elaine Heathcoe.

She is survived by her husband and companion of years 35 years: Jerry Boyett; children: Ashley Elaine Boyett (Tyrone Spear), Justin Gaylon Boyett (Ashley), and Little Jerry "Bubby" Boyett; grandchildren: Makayla, Tyrone and Lexie; brother: Gary Wilson, Jr. (Michelle); uncle: Danny Wilson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their spouses: Dave and Jade Boyett, Dan Boyett, Joanna and Chuck Brooks, Sheryl and Steve Archer, and Samantha and Dwayne Rose; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service to celebrate Judy's life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 4 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. Al Shackelford officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, from 3 p.m.to 4 p.m., at the funeral home.
