Julie Goolsby

Mrs. Julie Michelle Jones Goolsby, age 50, of Cookeville, TN, passed away December 5, 2021 in Williamson, GA, surrounded by her loving family. Julie grew up in Pike County and graduated from Pike County High School. She was an entrepreneur who owned a children's clothing store and a tanning salon. She adored her children and loved spending time with her family.

Julie was preceded in death by her father Johnny Jones, father-in-law Claude Bowman and her brother-in-law Greg Goolsby.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years: Mike Goolsby; children: Mary Michael Goolsby, Lindsey Grace Goolsby and Griffin Goolsby; mother: Angie Jones; sisters: Kris Perkins (Rodney) and Brooke Bartlett (Adam); nephews and a niece: Hunter, Levi, Ethan, Tatum, Maddie, Briggs and Beau; mother-in-law: Bettye Bowman; father-in-law: Buddy Goolsby; sister-in-law: Tammy Goolsby; and her beloved dog: Georgia.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, December 8, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home.  A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Zahn.
