Kay Hogan

Mrs. Emma Kay Steedley Hogan, age 74, of Zebulon, passed away February 27, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Arkansas, daughter of the late Hubert Steedley and Mildred Kilgore Steedley. Kay worked in the Claims Department for Continental Insurance Company for over 20 years, and then she worked for Clayton County in the Finance Department for 15 years, where she retired. Kay enjoyed shopping and trips to the beach with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie "Bill" Ernest Hogan, daughter, Debbie Lynn Hogan, brothers, Allen Steedley and David Steedley.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Tingle (Joel) of McDonough, Christy McCrary (Duane) of McDonough and Billy Hogan (Susan) of Lanett, AL; grandchildren: Jennifer Ray, Joshua Hogan, Allen Bowen, Randy Hogan, Ashley Lee, Michael Hogan, Mitchell Tingle and Katelyn Tingle; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Pauline, Ann, Wanda, Betty, Patsy, Phyllis, Carol and Mary; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 12 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Keffer officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.
