Kevin Calvert

Mr. Kevin James Calvert, age 53, of Greenville, SC, passed away July 4, 2024.  He grew up in Jersey City, NJ, son of the late Wallace Eugene Calvert and Florence Pforte Calvert.  Kevin was an excellent cook and worked in various restaurants in New Jersey and Greenville.  He was a people person, he never met a stranger and was very kind, generous and giving.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter and sister, Nancy.

He is survived by his sister and brothers: Sharon Elbadri (Rachid), Wallace Calvert, Jr. (Susan), Thomas Calvert, Bobby Calvert, and Roger Calvert; many nieces and nephews; aunts: Hazel Manuel and Wanda Alessi (Vito).

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 1 p.m., in Moody Memorial Gardens.
