Lamar Mayo

Mr. Joseph Lamar Mayo, age 83, of Jackson, passed away July 18, 2023, at his home.  Lamar was a Christian man who loved God.  He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.  He was a good storyteller and was always telling corny jokes and making others laugh and smile.  Lamar also liked old cars and going to car shows.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 3 p.m., in Liberty Baptist Church.  There will be food and fellowship after the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 3043 High Falls Road, Jackson, GA 30233, in memory of Lamar.
