Linda Evans

Mrs. Linda Dianne Ballew Evans, age 72, of Griffin, passed away July 15, 2022. She grew up in Griffin, daughter of the late Roy C. Ballew and Irene Nixon Ballew.  She worked as a cashier at a local convenient store, enjoyed playing games on her phone, and talking everyday with her daughter Kim.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Evans, her grandson Jonathan Lee Hazelrigs, her brother, George Larry Ballew; and her granddaughter-in-law, Patricia Strickland Hazelrigs.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Kenny Hazelrigs; grandsons: Jacob Hazelrigs and girlfriend Brandy Turner, and Jared Hazelrigs; great-granddaughter: Josie Hazelrigs; several nephews and nieces.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, July 19, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., in Moody Memorial Gardens.
